Sharlene Rabson Wolf, CFP®, CPA, has been a partner with The Sher Wealth Management Group since June 2003. Her experience in accounting, taxation and financial planning allows her to provide outstanding assistance to Phil Sher. Sharlene performs extensive research and works with clients in an administrative role. As a vital part of Phil's team, Sharlene enjoys adding value to individuals and families who entrust Phil Sher with their wealth.

As Phil Sher's partner at The Sher Wealth Management Group, Sharlene performs a wide variety of important functions for the firm including:

  • Assists Phil Sher with the administrative aspects of all clients' strategic financial plans.
  • Performs detailed research for clients' portfolios including analyzing investment products.
  • Manages all of the account administration and customer service related to client accounts including opening accounts, transferring assets, resolving problems, taking client requests for cash withdrawals and sending out year-end distributions.
  • Assists with account rebalancing and trading.

Beginning her professional career with Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1992, Sharlene spent six years performing detailed audits, complicated tax returns and comprehensive financial planning work. She then spent over five years with Pillar Financial Advisors and RINET Company performing complex financial plans and fully coordinating the implementation of recommended strategies.

Sharlene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University and was graduated in 1989. She also earned a Masters in Business Administration in Accounting in 1991 and a Masters of Science in Taxation in 1999 both from Northeastern University Graduate School of Professional Accounting.

She maintains the rigorous CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation as well as her Certified Public Accountant accreditation. Sharlene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is an LPL Registered Administrative Assistant.

Sharlene lives in Newton with her husband and two growing boys. Together they enjoy ski vacations and travel. Sharlene also plays the piano in her free time.
